Post Nuclear Steampunk FUN

Sometimes you can't win for losing... when the death of your parents, the robbery of your aunt, and the attack of cyborgs just gets your goat... maybe it's time to pull up your boot straps and move on. This is the case with Sebastian. Part post nuclear fallout, part steam punk fun... Tesla reminds me of something my 8th grade science teacher would have written.

Filled with interesting science facts as well as several great characters, the adventures of Sebastian and his journey to the Steam Academy is appealing for young adults especially boys and girls who love science. The dialogue is believable including the humor and the angst. I enjoyed Malanie with her devil don't care attitude and how she related to Sebastian and the world laying in decay.

This book has an important message to all of us and I am very glad to have read it.
